Coffee Cupping notes | Guatemala Finca El Panzal

Guatemala Finca El Panzal

I cupped a couple of coffees yesterday from Guatemala. One was a washed estate coffee from Finca El Panzal. This cupping proved to be fairly good, but lacked the fragrance that I was really looking for, thereby lowering the score overall.

Guatemala Huehuetenango
To be fair, I cannot give the Guatemala Huehuetenango (way-way-teh-nayne-go) that I recently roasted a score. During the roast cycle the coffee dropped out of the roaster into the cooling pan WAY too early. Agh! That has rarely happened in 5 years, but, it's happened, nonetheless. So, sorry Huehue, no score for you. :)

Keep posted for more cuppings from Lasaters!.......
